Ramona Gail "Mona" Martin, age 73, of Naples, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant.  Mona was born December 11, 1948, in Hooks, Texas, to John Henry Hicks and Hildred Carpenter Hicks.

Mona worked as a retail manager for many years.  She enjoyed flower gardening and working in her yard, dancing, playing golf, fishing, fast cars, and cooking.  She was the matriarch of her family and she loved spending time with them.  She also loved her pets.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Mary Hicks; three brothers, Robin Hicks, Tab Hicks, and Roger Hicks; and two grandsons, Ty Ball and Jaden Carter.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Martin of Naples; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Scott and Alshiea Browning of Princeton, Texas, Bryan and Danielle Martin of Atlanta, Texas, Jason and Rachel Browning of Frisco, Texas, and Christopher Browning of Houston, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Missy and Tiny Spivey of Texarkana, Arkansas and Amy Martin of Texarkana, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Janet Hicks of Naples; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Lea Ann Fondren of Omaha,, Tonya West of Omaha, and Tina and Pat Savage of Leary, Texas; one stepbrother, Gary Ragsdale of Naples; one stepsister, Jeanette Leyhe of Mesquite, Texas; twenty-two grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Lonny Hicks officiating.  Interment will follow at Creekmore Cemetery in Naples.
