Obituary

Nannie Marie Robison, age 89, of Naples, Texas, passed away on April 3, 2015, at a Longview, Texas Hospital. Mrs. Robison was born August 23, 1925 to Homer Floyd Guess and Mattie Lou Thigpen Guess. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Robison was a member at Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress, and was well known for her culinary skills, especially her old-fashioned raisin pie and pound cake. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and earned a degree from North Texas State University.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Robison in 1995; and two brothers, James David Guess and Murray A. Guess.

Surviving family members include one son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Debra Robison of Naples; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joanna and Roy Jester of Atlanta, Texas, and Debbi and Ron Plemmons of Mount Pleasant; four grandsons, Michael Jester, Rory Jester, Eric Robison, and Christopher Wiltsie; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2015, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Chas Carlisle and Rev. David Hazelwood officiating. Interment will follow at Omaha Cemetery, Omaha, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Marietta, Texas.
