Nona Bob Andrews, age 94, of Cookville, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at her home, with her family by her side.  Nona Bob was born November 5, 1930, in McAllen, Texas, to Norman Columbus Goodwin and Anna Lou Johnson Goodwin.

Nona Bob was raised in Cookville and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School.  She then attended North Texas State University.  On September 4, 1949, she married JW Andrews.  They had two children, Brett and Ginger.  They spent most of their years in Farmington, New Mexico where she worked 25 years in the Farmington school system.  After retirement, they moved back to their hometown of Cookville.

Nona Bob was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Brett Andrews; one sister, Betty Walker; and one grandson, Benjy Blackmon.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Randy Blackmon; four granddaughters, Brandi, Brooke, Misty, and Melanie; eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Cookville with Bro. Tim Anderson officiating.  Interment will follow at Center Grove Cemetery in Cookville.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral.
