Pansy Nell Ham, age 86, of Marietta, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 in Atlanta, Texas. Pansy was born October 9, 1936, in Marietta, Texas, to Hiram Edward Hancock and Ola Annice Crocker Hancock.

Pansy was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta.  She retired from The Morris County National Bank in Naples where she worked in the bookkeeping department.  After retiring from the bank, she went to work as the City of Marietta's secretary.  Pansy was the head of the Marietta Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Marietta Community Association.  She loved tending her flower beds.

Pansy was preceded in death by her husband, Boots Ham; her parents; one brother, Troyce Hancock; and two sisters, Maydell Wommack and Veneta Hancock.

Survivors include one son, Chuck Ham of Marietta; two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Kenneth Joe and Myrel Ham of Cass, Texas, Bill Hubbs of Queen City, Texas, and Lutherene Hancock of Marietta.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta with Dr. Chas Carlisle officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marietta Volunteer Fire Department.
