Patsy Rae Rainey, age 74, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017, in Texarkana, Texas. Patsy was born February 8, 1943, in Naples, Texas, to Thomas Maloy McNatt, Sr. and Mildred Faye Parrish McNatt.

Patsy was a member at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples, where she was very active. She was integral in organizing church events and meals. She enjoyed caring for people. Patsy formerly owned an insurance agency in the Houston area. Once she came back to the Naples area, she became the Naples City Secretary. She was also involved with the Naples Cemetery Association. Patsy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Peggy Wills.

Surviving family members include her husband, Larry Rainey of Naples; one brother, Tom "Sonny" McNatt of Dallas; one stepson, Greg Rainey of Baytown, Texas; one stepdaughter, Donna Guillory of Dayton, Texas; two nieces, Kalyn Asher of Dallas and Michelle McNatt of Denison; two grandchildren, Steven Shuffield and wife Cloie, and Mark Shuffield; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Shuffield; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples with Bro. Tim Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Naples Cemetery, Naples, Texas.
