Pauline Rieck Caughfield, age 99, of Cookville, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Pauline was born December 10, 1915 in Schertz, Texas.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, working in the garden, raising chickens, and reading western books.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, George Rieck and Bill Rieck; one daughter, Janice Chumbley; two grandsons, Rocky Harper and Tony Harper; two great-granddaughters, Kara Sass and Eva Sue Harper; and one great-grandson, Daniel Harper.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Sue Caughfield of Pittsburg, Texas and Sandra and Ronnie Tully of Cookville, Texas; six grandchildren, Ricky Tully, Bil Tully, Amber Tully Meier, Amy Hampton, Sherri Chumbley, and Kevin Chumbley; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015, at the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Ken Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Omaha.
