Peggy Jean Leeves, age 85, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Peggy was born November 17, 1931 in Naples to William Leslie Forsythe and Blanche Tigert Forsythe.

Peggy was a member at First United Methodist Church in Naples. She was a beautician in Houston and in Naples before becoming a full-time homemaker. She was a member of the David Granberry Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Peggy enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, and taking care of her grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James S. Leeves in 2014; her parents, Leslie and Blanche Forsythe; two brothers, Bill Forsythe and Sonny Forsythe; and two sisters, Hazel Wakefield and Joyce Hayes Goudeau.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Jane Leeves of Naples; one daughter, Dr. Jane Ann Leeves of Houston; two grandchildren, Joe Leeves and Jessica Leeves; a special niece, Mary Janet Wakefield; and numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Naples with Rev. Jack Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Springhill Cemetery Association.
