Penny Brents Morgan, age 51, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 in Mount Pleasant. Penny was born December 20, 1972, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Penny attended Victory Church in River Oaks, Texas. She was a homemaker. Penny enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. She also enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and listening to music. Penny loved her animals and taking care of her family.

Penny was preceded in death by her stepfather, Steve Merck.

Survivors include her husband, Randal Morgan of Omaha, Texas; her mother, Sue Davis of Winfield, Texas; her father and stepmother, Ernie and Tina Brents of Henderson, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Ashley Brents of Henderson and Amber and Aaron Givens of Winnsboro, Louisiana; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Christina and Jeremie Maxwell of Keller, Texas, Danielle and Bryan Tefteller of Naples, Texas, and Shilo Gorham of Austin, Texas; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Clint Brents of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Brandon and April Brents of McKinney, Texas; two grandchildren, Avery Derveloy and Bennett Derveloy; four nephews, Cody Tefteller, Ryley Brents, Ben Gorham, and Preston Brents; three nieces, Lauren Tefteller, Zoey Brents, and  May Brents; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Interment will follow at Flat Creek Cemetery in Marietta, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples prior to the funeral service.
