Lloyd Ray Baxter, age 60, of Naples, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his home.  Ray was born October 11, 1960 in Simms, Texas.

Ray was a rancher.  He also worked building fence and as a farrier.  Ray enjoyed dancing, being outdoors, and tending to animals.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Emory, Sr. and Wanda Swafford; and one brother, John Swafford.

Survivors include his wife, Kristy Kight of Naples; four daughters and one son-in-law, Candace and Abel Chavez of Royse City, Texas, Toy Baxter of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Amanda Baxter, and Chelsea Baxter of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother, Emory Swafford, Jr.; one granddaughter, Sofia Chavez; nephew, Chance Swafford; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas.
