DeWayne Ray Hampton, age 69, of Naples, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, In Longview, Texas. Ray was born June 6, 1956, in Naples, Texas, to Ephriam Elem Hampton and Mary Frances Freeman Hampton.

Ray retired from Lone Star Steel where he worked as a straightener operator. He was also a lifelong rancher. He was a member of the Hughes Springs Masonic Lodge #671. Ray enjoyed tinkering on tractors, gardening, and shooting. He also enjoyed shopping for antiques, doing dirt work, logging and fishing.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Diane Kizer and Carolyn Tibbitts.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Hampton of Naples; one daughter and son-in-law, Angie Baldwin and Mike Reiner of Sabine, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Leonard Cory Ray Hampton and Amanda Hampton of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; three grandchildren, Hannah Baldwin, Jack Baldwin, and Jake Hampton; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 02, 2025, at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 03, 2025, at Harrison Funeral Home, with Marvin Naron officiating. Interment will follow at Cornett Cemetery in Naples.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornett Cemetery Association.
