Richard Eugene "Rickey" Frost, age 66, of Douglassville, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in Linden, Texas. Rickey was born May 21, 1957, in Naples, Texas, to Ivan Carl Frost and Leta Lavonia Patterson Frost.

Rickey worked in construction as a millwright for a number of years. He enjoyed everything outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Rickey was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Brabham Frost; his parents; and one brother, Wendell J. Frost.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Morgan Frost of Omaha, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Bluford Lowery of Linden; one sister-in-law, Kathy Frost of Omaha; three nephews, Jim Lowery, Bret Lowery, and Blu Lowery; three nieces, Shona Prior, Molly Glass, and Katie Millhorn; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2024 at Union Hill Cemetery in Linden, Texas with Rev. Billy Hunt officiating.
