Obituary

In Loving Memory of Robert Lyhu Jackson, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of, "Rob" who left this world on May 24, 2025.

Though he is no longer with us, his kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will continue to shine in the lives he touched. Rob was more than just a presence in a room - he was the one voice in the room, everyone knew when he spoke, whether it be talking about Nascar, Hot Wheels, Dallas Cowboys or how many commercials played while watching TV. His generosity knew no bounds. He was the knowledge base of this family, building things and making things work or having the tools to do it with. He found joy in trades days, garage sales, collecting Hot Wheels, Watching them Cowboys, and most of all his family. He was a provider for his family. Early in life he worked as a certified millwright at the steel mill in Lone Star when it was thriving. He hauled pulp wood, owned a garbage business and was most known for his Jackson Siding and Seamless Gutter business. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the memories he's left us, and knowing he is with our Father in Heaven. The stories we'll tell, the lessons we've shared, and the love that will never fade.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elaine Jackson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Karen Jackson; one son, Mitch Jackson and wife Sundi Jackson; one daughter Honey Brenton and life partner Micheal Edwards; 6 grandchildren, Kyle Jackson, Hylen and Haley Jackson, McKayla Jackson and life partner Logan Bogue, McKensi Jackson, Desiree Brenton and life partner Kason Nevels, and Bryce Brenton and life partner Aubrey Neuman. 2 great grandchildren, Hudson Jackson, and Haven Grace Nevels. He leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, kindness, and compassion that will endure forever.

A celebration of their life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas, where we will gather to honor his memory and share the love they brought into the world. Rest easy, dear husband, Daddy, Pawpaw. You are loved beyond measure, and you will never be forgotten.
