Robert Waldon Simpson, age 66, of Hooks, Texas, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 in Texarkana, Texas.  Robert was born April 14, 1955 in Charleston, South Carolina to James Robert Simpson and Betty Catherine Waldon Simpson.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the US Army National Guard.  He worked as a millwright at ALCOA and then at Red River Army Depot.  Robert loved any kind of racing.  He also enjoyed working on cars and building models cars.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Simpson; his parents; one brother, Toby Simpson; and one grandson, Tracy Fielding.

Survivors include one son, Bob Simpson and fiancé Amanda Davis of Texarkana, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Jarrod Fielding of Texarkana, Texas and Ashley and Jeff Jones of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother, Corbett and Glenda Simpson of Mountain View, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Abigail Simpson, Remington Davis, JR Fielding, Bryanna Fielding, Addison Jones, and Connor Jones; three great-grandchildren, Isaiah Fielding, Averely Brantley, and Emberlynn Burnett; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.  Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bryans Mill, Texas.
