Roger Dell Laney, age 76, of Naples, Texas, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at his home. Roger was born May 29, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Ed Laney and Neoma Davis.

Roger worked in the timber industry and was a sawmill operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the casino, drinking coffee, woodworking, and watching westerns.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Geneva Echols and Mildred Hicks.

Survivors include one son, Rodney Laney of Naples, Texas; two daughters and son-in-law, Sherrie and Jim Martin of Marietta, Texas and Tina Glubke of Omaha, Texas; two sisters, Ouida Patton of Omaha, Texas and twin Bobbie Nell Goodwin of St. Louis, Missouri; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; best friends, James and Michelle Barton; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.
