Ronny Doyle "Bo" Bell, age 73, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Bo was born October 26, 1944 in Maud, Texas to Gussie Elwood Bell and Venita Louise Howard Bell.

Bo was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Omaha. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He retired from the Texarkana, Texas Police Department, where he was a dispatcher. Bo was a member of the American Legion, and was also an auxiliary police office for the Texarkana Police Department. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling. Bo loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.

Bo was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving family members include his wife, Joan Bell of Omaha; one daughter, Becky Bell of Omaha; one sister and brother-in-law, Ronda and Robert Churchwell of Naples, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Harrison Funeral Chapel in Naples, Texas with Dr. Ken Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bryans Mill, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at the funeral home.
