Roy Gene Dunham, age 92, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  Roy was born February 3, 1931, in Farmer's Branch, Texas, to Elbert and Ethel Dunham.

Roy attended Rocky Point Methodist Church in Naples.  He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Korea during the Korean War.  He then became a civilian aircraft inspector for the Air Force.  Roy retired from General Dynamics in Ft. Worth in the mid 80's.

Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Hicks Dunham; his parents; four brothers; and one grandson.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Nancy Page Frederick of Allen, Texas and Beverly Edgil of Wylie, Texas; three grandchildren, Brandon Edgil and wife Andred, Brad Edgil, and Brandi Edgil; seven great-grandchildren, Brooke Wasson, Blake Wasson, Cole Wasson, Brayden Edgil, Breann Edgil, Baylee Edgil, and Max Edgil and wife Alex; one great-great-granddaughter, Bentley; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2024 at Creekmore Cemetery in Naples with Bro. Dwaine Higgins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Creekmore Cemetery Association.
