Roy Glenn Fincher, age 70, of Naples, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Roy was born November 30, 1951, in Hereford, Texas, to Wilford Thomas Fincher and Gladys Faye Holland Fincher.

Roy spent most of his life as a heavy equipment operator after serving with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and then served with the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time outside, tinkering, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Carl Fincher; and one sister, Bonnie Wise.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Wanda Fincher of Naples; two sons, Joseph Fincher of Pasadena, Texas, and Micah Fincher of Naples; four daughters and one son-in-law, Leahanne and Cuper Garcia of Mount Vernon, Texas, Carmen Fincher of Naples, Chloe Fincher of Naples, and Trinity Fincher of Naples; one brother, Eddie Fincher of Amarillo, Texas; one sister, Ruth Donahue of Louisville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Ryan Garcia, Tori Garcia, Kamryn Garcia, and Jace Garcia; one great-granddaughter, Madileighn Juliet; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas.
