Lillie Ruth Lippe age 96 of Naples, Texas passed away Thursday February 12, 2026 at her home. Ruth was born August 16, 1929 in Talpa, Texas to Trox Oliver Burleson and Lena Eschberger Burleson.

Ruth was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Mount Pleasant, Texas and a member of the Lutheran Braille Ministry for over 40 years. The blood of the Lamb and the Word of her testimony of the Lord Jesus as her Savior was her way of overcoming every obstacle to what He wanted to accomplish in her long and fruitful lifetime. She opened her home for visits and extended visits. She also wanted to lead others into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Her contribution to all around her was to be of service and it was quite obvious that a major calling she had was that of hospitality.

Ruth enjoyed playing rummikube, cooking, gardening and many other activities. She was also a talented seamstress. She was an active partner with her husband in their business, Lippe's Dozer Service.

Ruth was preceded by her loving and faithful husband Fritz Lippe; her parents; nine siblings; two daughters-in-law Zella Lippe and Patricia Lippe; one son-in-law Jerry Mauch; and one great-grandchild Naomi George.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mike Lippe of Odessa, Texas and Fred and Lucy Lippe of Naples, Texas; one daughter Shirley Mauch of Booneville, Arkansas; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews. We also treasure our Dear Aunt Ruth Cleckler.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Mount Pleasant, Texas with Pastor Mike Kimmel officiating. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Garden in Odessa, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chambers Hospice, Mount Pleasant, Texas.
