Ruthie Mae Wommack, age 91, of Naples, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, in Daingerfield, Texas. Ruthie was born April 13, 1932, in Marietta, Texas to Rufus Alonzo Robison and Carrie Leona Simmons Robison.

Ruthie was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta. She was a homemaker. Ruthie enjoyed spending time with family and gardening.

Ruthie was preceded in death by her husband, Marshal Wommack; her parents; two brothers, Lee Robison and Leonard Robison; and three sisters, Irma Bell, Ouida Baskin, and Bernice Daniel.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ted and Sandra Wommack of Naples, Texas and Dale and Pam Wommack of Rockwall, Texas; one sister, Joyce England of Naples; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta, Texas with Dr. Chas Carlisle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta, Texas.
