Virginia Scott "Scottie" Foster, age 95, of Naples, Texas, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  Scottie was born August 12, 1925 in Atlanta, Texas.

Scottie was a member at First Baptist Church in Naples.  She and her husband, Leman, owned and operated Foster's Grocery and Market in Naples.  She was a member of the Naples Garden Club and was very instrumental in planting the crepe myrtles along the railroad in Naples.

Scottie was preceded in death by her husband, Leman C. Foster; her parents; and one sister, Margie Marie Nash.

Survivors include one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Roy and Betty Foster of Wake Village, Texas and Janie Boswell of Dallas, Texas; several nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta with Bro. Roy Foster officiating.
