Shirley Irene Crocker, age 81, of Marietta, Texas, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at her home. Shirley was born January 16, 1937 in Hughes Springs, Texas to Edward Grogan Sutton and Wilma Clarene Watson Sutton.

Shirley was a member at O'Farrell Baptist Church in Atlanta and also attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed many kinds of arts and crafts. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jackie Ray Crocker; and two sisters, Mary Griffin and Myrl Crocker.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Robert Crocker of Marietta; one daughter and son-in-law, Diann and Auvis Shaddix of Marietta; one son, Andy Crocker and girlfriend Cindy Cameron of Naples; one brother and sister-in-law, James "Buck" and Sharon Sutton of Water Valley, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bennie Parrent of Daingerfield, Texas; four grandchildren, Ashlee Morris and husband Joe Ray, Scott Shaddix and wife Malinda, J.R. Crocker and wife Lindi, and Jennifer Hooten and husband Kenneth; eight great-grandchildren, Jett Morris, Mylee Morris, Kaylon Crocker, Bentley Crocker, Blaykon Crocker, Zach Shaddix, Langston Hooten, and Tucker Hooten; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Chas Carlisle and Rev. Dominic Crescimanno officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the funeral home.
