Shirley Lilly Wright, age 82, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Longview, Texas. Shirley was born February 20, 1935 in Cookville, Texas to Sam and Addie Lilly.

Shirley was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Omaha. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1953 and married Glen Wright from Omaha the same year. Shirley focused on raising her three sons but eventually worked at the Mt. Pleasant Dress Factory, Endsley's Grocery Store, and Petal Pushers Flower Shop. She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, and traveling. She was a member of several Bible study classes and book clubs.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Wright, in 1998; her mother and father, Sam and Addie Lilly; two sisters Flora Parker and Pauline Pruitt; and one son, Larry Glenn Wright, in 1992.

Surviving family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Kathy Wright of Midland, Texas, Mark and Sandy Wright of Longview, Texas, and Rhonda Wright of Redwater, Texas; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017 at Concord Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church in Omaha with Rev. Nolan Richey and Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Omaha.
