Stover Brooks Wilson, age 96, Denton, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016, in a Mt. Pleasant, Texas nursing home. Stover was born September 22, 1919 in Lloyd, Texas to Jasper and Roxie Hale Wilson.
Stover was a ceramic tile contractor and brick mason. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a veteran.
Stover was a resident at Mt. Pleasant Healthcare Center for two and a half years. He was a bass fisherman, enjoyed working in his yard and had a beautiful pond. He loved his family and enjoyed helping people and making friends everywhere he went.
Stover was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Kenneth Wilson, Cliff Wilson and Clint Wilson; one son, Dale Wilson.
Surviving family members include one son and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Wilson of Weatherford, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Tommy Heard of Naples, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Selby and Sue Wilson; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
