Mary Sue Goins, age 83, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Tyler, Texas.  Sue was born January 26, 1941, in the Wards Creek community of Simms, Texas, to James Egbert Proctor and Mary Irene Reed Proctor.

Sue was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Naples.  She retired from Wal Mart in Mt. Pleasant where she worked as a floor manager.  She enjoyed fishing and keeping her yard.  Sue was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother and loved her family dearly.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd T. Goins; her parents; three brothers, Charles Proctor, Jimmy Proctor, and Clyde Proctor; and four sisters, Reba Proctor, Pete Proctor, Ginny Towns, and Dovie Love.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Jody Purcell of White House, Texas and Darlene and Chad Wiley of Naples, Texas; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Betty Holcomb of Longview, Texas, Lucille Teal of Longview, and Linda and Cecil Hernandez of Longview; five grandchildren, Michael Myers and husband Keith, Laken Weathers, Jacob Weathers, Brody Crocker, and Case Wiley; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas with Rev. Ricky Knight officiating.  Interment will follow at Wards Creek Cemetery in Simms.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
