Susan Richard May, age 80, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Susan was born May 27, 1945, in Denison, Texas, to James William Richard and Roxi Elizabeth Newton Richard.

Susan was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Boston, Texas. She was a retired LVN. In her free time, Susan enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, sewing, and reading.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Gene" May; her parents; and one sister, Marian Ivey.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Melissa May of Gilmer, Texas; one daughter, Amanda May of Naples, Texas; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Ivey of Denver, Colorado; six grandchildren, Rayannah May, Grace May, Faith Rothrock, MaKayla Brown, Savanna Goodrich, and Daniel May; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Brown, Killian Brown, and Eli Brown; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Harrison Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Creekmore Cemetery in Naples.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
