Obituary

Tad E. Lincoln, age 78, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. Tad was born September 28, 1940 in Mason, Michigan to Elmer Charles Lincoln and Mary Angeline Scofield Lincoln.

Tad retired from General Motors where he was a painter.  He attended Restoration Family Worship Center in Naples.  Tad was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and the National Rifle Association.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting guns.  Tad loved taking care of animals and loved to travel.

Tad was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lincoln, in 2017; and his parents.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Laurie Lincoln of Waxahachie, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Bobby Gourley of Sioux City, Iowa, and Lisa and Sammy Rodriquez of North Richland Hills, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Toni and Marty Mehan of Justin, Texas; eight grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Jimmy McCabe, Cody Rodriquez, Casey Rodriquez, Allyson Rodriquez, Paige Lincoln, Ashlee Creed, and Kody Stroope; ten great-grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Home with Bro. Bryan Peck officiating.
