Tashona Elena D'Lain Hagar, age 28, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Tashona was born August 10, 1986, in Seminole, Texas to Dwayne Hagar and Veronica Matthews.

Tashona was employed at Pilgrim's Pride Corporation in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She attended Church on the Rock in Daingerfield.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Veronica Matthews; one brother, Troy Allen; her grandfather, Harvey Matthews; and one uncle, Edwin Matthews.

Accompanying Tashona on the journey to Heaven were her daughter, Destiny Skyler Hagar; son, Gregory "Bubba" Beard, Jr.; and one unborn child.

Tashona is survived by her father, Dwayne Hagar of Seminole, Texas; grandmother, Climmie Matthews of Omaha; one daughter, Nevaeh Whetstone; one brother, Travis Allen; one sister, Takota Matthews; special aunt, Rachael Stacks; two aunts, three uncles; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at the Paul Pewitt High School Auditorium with Rev. Randy Seybert officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Titus County.
