Teresa Jan Nelson, age 66, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at her home.  Teresa was born April 23, 1956, in Naples, Texas to Homer Billy Jack Munkres and Lillie Juanita Godwin Munkres.

Teresa retired from the Pilgrim's Pride Corporation where she worked in the central receiving department. When she was younger, she loved playing softball.  She also enjoyed swimming and going to the beach.  Teresa's biggest passion in life was taking care of her family and spending time with them.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, JoAnn Smith; and two brothers, Billy Tim Munkres and Danny Munkres.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Randale Nelson of Omaha; three daughters and one son-in-law, Shelli and Brett Wright of Hensley, Arkansas, Shandi Homer of Omaha, and Amy Fuller of Clarksville, Tennessee; two sons and daughters-in-law, Adam and April Nelson of Wylie, Texas and Brent and Teresa Nelson of Ketchikan, Alaska; nineteen grandchildren, Heath Hicks, Cayden Richardson, Chace Hicks, Cash Hicks, Misty Adair, Tanner Wright, Kody Wright, Rylee Hutchings, Tyler Hutchings, Cutter Hutchings, Bryce Fuller, Tristan Fuller, Karsen Fuller, Layla Fuller, Bradley Nelson, Brantley Nelson, Eyston Nelson, Ely Nelson, Ethan Nelson; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.
