Victor Lawrence Elrod, age 62, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  Victor was born September 30, 1957 in Naples to Henry Paul Elrod and Mary Dean Sherrill Elrod.

Victor was currently a preacher and a carpenter.  He was very involved with missions in Mexico.  His first mission trip to Mexico was in November 2000, and he and his family went an average of three times a year after that.  Victor enjoyed hunting, fishing, making jellies, building guns, bows and knives, and building furniture.  He especially enjoyed gardening and driving around looking at the countryside.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Paula Geiselman.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Deborah Elrod of Naples; one son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Hannah Elrod of Naples; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Joe Gray of Daphne, Alabama and Lauren and Chris Woods of Atlanta, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Katherine Elrod of Destrehan, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Don Geiselman of Arlington, Texas; nephew, Aaron Geiselman of Arlington; nine grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Restoration Family Worship Center in Naples with Rev. John Green and Don Geiselman officiating.  Interment will follow at East New Hope Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.
