Violet Louise Dunn, age 52, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2020, at her home in Omaha, Texas.  Violet was born December 30, 1967 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to James Samuel Downey and Avis Carlene McQuilliams.

At a young age, Violet could do anything she set her mind to.  She was brave, ambitious, and loving.  She was a devoted servant of our Lord and selflessly served her communities as an EMT and volunteer firefighter while living in Pernell, Oklahoma.  Violet loved spending time with her family and tending to her flower gardens.  She also enjoyed many arts and crafts, drawing, and painting.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandparents, Alton and Alice Downey.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin Dunn of Omaha, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, April and Drew Nipp of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Amber Dunn and Daniel Andrade of San Antonio, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Michael and Halie Dunn of Altus AFB, Oklahoma; three brothers; four sisters; eight grandchildren, Kaylee Nipp, McKenna Nipp, Mackenzie Bowers, Presley Nipp, Jaidyn Habibelahian, Peyton Andrade, Holden Habibelahian, and Kylie Andrade; and numerous other relatives and friends.

At Violet's request, a small memorial service will be held with relatives and close friends.
