Virginia Amos Parker, age 74, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at her home. Virginia was born January 26, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to William Eudelle Amos ad Becky Jane McAnally Amos.

Virginia was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, and gardening. She was also an animal lover. Virginia loved spending time with her family.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Parker, in 1999; her parents; two brothers, Fred Amos and Marion Amos; and three sisters, Frieda Amos, Louise Smith, and Dorothy Hill.

Surviving family members include one son, David Parker and partner Ryan Bullard of Jefferson, Texas; four daughters, Myra Anderson and husband Tim of Naples, Gina Swaffar and husband Robert of Omaha, Christi Strong and husband Bobby of Omaha, and Dawn Napier of Lake Havasu, Arizona; one brother, Clyde Amos and wife Marlene of Cookville, Texas; one sister, Clara Sheets of Mt. Vernon, Texas; a special niece, Kay Ries and husband John of Naples; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church with Bro. Tim Anderson officiating.
