William Author "Billy" Crocker, Jr., age 90, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at his home.  Billy was born October 13, 1931 in Marietta, Texas to William Author Crocker, Sr. and Viva Estel Hancock.

Billy was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta.  He retired from Day and Zimmerman where he was supervisor over ammunition testing.  Billy was a former Marietta City Councilman and a member of the Oak Ridge Cemetery Association.  Billy enjoyed hunting and he loved fishing.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Myrl Crocker; one daughter, Patricia Turner; one son, Marty Crocker; one brother, Robert Crocker; and one sister, Kathryn Waldon.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Tuck Crocker of Naples; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Stevie and Tina Crocker of Marietta, Ricky and Lorrie Crocker of Omaha, and Anita Crocker of Bogata, Texas; one daughter and two sons-in-law, Judy and David Burkhalter of Hughes Springs, Texas, and Jerald Turner of Texarkana; two stepdaughters and one stepson-in-law, Cindy and Kurk Prejean of Bryan, Texas and Laura Scherer of British Columbia, Canada; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Luna Crocker of Marietta; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Buck and Sharon Sutton of Water Valley, Texas; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Benny Parent of Jenkins, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta with Dr. Chas Carlisle officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Cemetery Association.
