Obituary

Calvin "Wade" Wakefield, age 47, of Tomball, Texas passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at home. Wade was born September 18, 1973 in Lordsburg, New Mexico to Jimmy Harve Wakefield and Claudette Carter Wakefield.

Wade grew up on a farm outside Naples with seven catfish ponds, a good dog, and plenty of woods for hunting.  He moved with his family to Spring, Texas in 1985 and that became his home. However, his deep love of nature brought him back to East Texas for hunting season and fishing, whenever he could get away.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents and paternal and maternal grandparents.

Survivors include his long-time companion Ciara Dvorak, daughter Hailey Wakefield, and son Tyler Wakefield.   Siblings, Tricia & Robert Foster of Omaha, Darrell & Tina Wakefield of Hughes Springs, Doug & Kay Wakefield of Marietta, and Bill Reyno and husband Chris of Oak Cliff, Texas, Amy Wakefield & Ricky Cubbage of Shenandoah, VA, Lyn Wright of McGaheysville, VA, and Liz & Mike Kaitcer of Ft. Worth, TX. Uncles David Carter and wife Tracey of Naples, John Carter and wife Nan of Florida, Aunts Mary Francis Lewis and husband Terry of Hockley, Texas and Barbara Carter of Naples.

Nieces and Nephews: Marissa May, Katie Sims, Clayton Sims, David Wakefield and wife Kimber, Chaise & Amanda Wakefield, Dusty Wakefield, Natalie Wakefield,  Codie & Steve Corah, Zach Reyno,  Ryan Reyno, Sarah (Katie) Reyno, Casey & Brian Austin, Chelsea Mowbray, Jennifer Wright, and Kate Kaitcer

Great-Nieces & Nephews:  Lucas, Damien, Gabriel, Paisley and Ellie Corah, Gabriel Ovalle, Emma Lou and Carson Wakefield, Derek Sims, Grayson Wakefield, Mia Wilson, and Alivia Wilson.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Bro. Doye Wilbanks officiating.  Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.  The family will receive friend from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the funeral home, prior to the funeral.
