Wanda Louise McMillon Barnett, age 83, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021. Wanda was born December 30, 1937, in Bonham, Texas, to Homer Guy McMillon and Melba Louise Apple McMillon.

Wanda retired from the VA hospital in Bonham where she was a nurse. She was a member at First Baptist Church in Omaha. Wanda enjoyed playing Bingo, visiting with people, eating out, and reading her Bible.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Brenda Barnett; one niece, Sandy Godwin; and one great-nephew, Gabe Godwin

Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Mike Goforth of Omaha, Texas; one nephew, Steven Ross of Omaha, Texas; two nieces, Susan Ross of Omaha, Texas and Sharon Ross of Bossier City, Louisiana; five great nephews, Chance Godwin, Nathan Lollis, Chase Ross, Robert Nelson, and Michael Ross; two great nieces, Heather Ross and Dee Anne Clayborne; seven great-great nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. A graveside service will be held at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, Texas at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
