Wendell Joe Frost, 72, of Naples, Tx, passed away Sunday, March 13 , 2022, in Omaha, Tx.  Wendell was born September 17, 1949, in Atlanta, Texas, to Carl and Lavonia Patterson Frost.

Wendell graduated from Paul Pewitt High School in 1969.  He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or just doing country boy things.  He was a member of the Naples Boots and Saddle Club, and for many years enjoyed his duties parking cars on horseback, working in the stripping chutes, and lending a helping hand wherever one was needed.  Not only was he fond of hearing a good story, he could tell one too.

Wendell was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Kathy Rene Frost; three daughters & sons-in-law Shona & John Prior, Molly & Ben Glass, and Katie & Brandon Milhorn; four grandchildren, Taylor Morton, Zachary (Haley) Morton, Pepper Ann Milhorn, and Clara Dell Glass, four great-grandchildren Emersyn Morton, Trey Wacasey, Kentlee and Kooper Morton; one sister & brother-in-law, Kay & Bluford Lowery; one brother, Ricky Frost; and many cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Brandon Milhorn officiating.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to Chambers Hospice for their care and compassion given to them during their time of need.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chambers Hospice or the hospice organization of your choice.
