Willie Lee May McKelvey, 97, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, formerly of Naples, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Pleasant Springs Healthcare Center in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

She was born August 23, 1918, in Cass County. Her Parents were Loddie and Nettie (Hicks) Nash. She worked for many years for Foster's Grocery in Naples and worked in nursing facilities in the Mt. Pleasant area. She was a member of Dalton Missionary Baptist Church for many years and later in life moved her membership to Mt. Sylvia Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, two sisters and two husbands, Vernon May and Thomas McKelvey.

Survivors include two sons, Deryl and wife Janeta May of Maud, Texas; Randall and wife Julie May of New Boston, Texas; two daughters, Winnie and husband Charles Hooker of Spring, Texas, and Darline and husband Danny Crooks of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel in Naples. Interment will follow at Dalton Cemetery in Naples.
