Jere Don Kellough, age 59, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 in Tyler, Texas. Jere was born January 20, 1963, in Waco, Texas, to James G. Kellough and Juanita Brannon Kellough.
Jere was associated with South Jefferson Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Jere was a man of many hats and loved his work. His work allowed him the opportunity to help people of the community and enjoy his many hobbies. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing, riding motorcycles, driving fast cars, flying airplanes, traveling, and sharing his travels and stories with the world through social media.
Jere was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Jimmy Kellough.
Survivors include his wife, Tracey Kellough of Omaha; mother, Juanita Kellough of Waco; two sons, James David Kellough of Bronx, New York, and Justin Kellough and wife Kristen of Houston, Texas; one brother, Johnny Kellough and wife Merry of Waco; one sister, Robin Mocek and husband Randy of Waco; two grandchildren, Maggie Kellough and Bear Kellough of Houston; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at South Jefferson Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant, Texas with Justin Kellough officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Omaha.
